Retribution for a Change of Heart
When I got sent to the guidance counselor’s office for the nth, my homeroom adviser and the counselor decided to talk to me. It was a long and emotional conversation that made me realize a lot of things – some good and mostly bad. By the end of it I was so badly in the need of change and retribution. I decided to try and put my mistakes into right and be a better person. The first step I took was to remedy my wrongdoings on the old man whom I had tormented with my crude and vulgar vandalism. I called a professional for Graffiti removal and had the old man’s house cleaned. The company that I called made sure that the house was scrubbed clean of all the graffiti and was coated with anti-graffiti paint in order to prevent any more vandalism from landing on his home. The old man thanked me and for the first time since my parents’ divorce, I felt genuinely happy.
